ACP is taking a Thin Client Roadshow across the country. Stopping at almost 50 cities in the US, this Lunch & Learn tour covers a four month span from October to January.

From Florida to Oregon and California to Massachusetts this free event shows attendees how to save money and time with Thin Clients and ACP's Thin Client management software, ThinManager. The show actually starts saving you money right away because ACP picks up the tab for breakfast and lunch at each location.

"It is remarkable to us how many people have not taken the time to investigate Thin Clients," said Paul Burns, one of the 'Roadies' with ACP. "Companies who have never seen what can be done with a true Thin Client platform are having their eyes opened to the power of this technology." ACP will be showing their new Platform 4 product, which rolls many of ThinManager's industry leading features into a single product, adding support for new devices like IP Cameras at the same time.

The United States Department of Energy reports a 55% overall reduction in energy use at sites that switch to Thin Client technology, and found that switching to Thin Clients at just seven of its locations would reduce operating costs by almost $2 million a year. This is because the Thin Client centralized computing model allows software updates, virus scans, backups and support to be done on just a few servers as opposed to PCs scattered around the facility. Companies looking to increase security are also making the switch to avoid the chances of having sensitive information stolen or compromised.
