Softing updated its unified PROFIBUS Diagnostic Suite V2.02. The new software combines the following benefits:
Users can download this software package from the web page to update a diagnostic toolset. This software update is free-of-charge and does not require any software license.
The software package has been redesigned from scratch to improve the all-important ease-of-use aspect of the software while at the same time preserving the more in-depth diagnostic features required by networking experts.
One powerful new feature of the software is its “Quick-Test” button. With a single mouse click a user is able to initiate a full analysis of a PROFIBUS network including electrical signal and protocol analysis. A summary of all results is displayed to the user in a very intuitive manner. Critical conditions on the network are color-coded and a user has quick access to additional information.
This software package includes support for Softing’s industry-leading diagnostic products including:
